Advanced Patrol Rifle
Marksmanship Course

This 5-day course is designed for active patrol officers who deploy
with patrol rifles and for instructors seeking to integrate advanced
marksmanship into their agency’s training programs.

While most patrol rifle training focuses on CQB and Active Deadly
Threat response, this course emphasizes precision shooting and
marksmanship principles for open-air armed barricades and
hostage rescue scenarios.

Adapted from a Level One Sniper Course, this program is
delivered using the .223 carbine platform common to patrol
operations.

Participants will cover the full spectrum of rifle marksmanship,
including rifle setup, optics, positional shooting, breathing, trigger
control, grip, range estimation, ballistics, and establishing proper
rifle zeroes. Each day includes practical shooting and classroom
instruction, with lectures and case studies scheduled in the
mornings.

Day five concludes with a written exam, a live-fire scenario, and a
final competition shoot reflecting real-world patrol encounters.
All instructors are certified Canadian police sniper instructors.
Instructor-to-member ratio is maintained at 1:4 to ensure high-
quality, personalized instruction.

COST:
$3,500 plus GST per member. Members are required to bring their
own rifle and ammunition. Brownstone Tactical Group will cover
the cost of the range rental, targets, and stands.

IMPORTANT
NOTICE:
Brownstone Tactical Group courses are exclusively offered to active Law Enforcement.
Brownstone Tactical Group programs are not available to civilians.
